Who can participate?
We encourage all aspiring and professional artists in Kenilworth to participate in our only Art Studio Tour of the year. Non-resident artists with a Kenilworth connection are also invited to participate.
Please complete the registration form, payment form and submit photos for publicity by Saturday, June 1, 2024
All work produced and for sale at the event must be designed and created by the artist, not be commercially manufactured or made from commercial molds/kits (80/20 rule applies), and reproductions must be clearly labeled as such.
Also, be prepared to:
Assist with brochure distribution prior to the event.
Assist with organizing the tour: your help makes a better, more successful event!
Utilize individual mailing lists to help promote event publicity.
Abide by the Kenilworth Artists Association’s Policies & Procedures.
Contact Publicity Chair or KAA with media contact ideas. All contacts with the media should be made through Publicity to insure accuracy and consistency of information.
All official communication from KAA will be through e-mail or other electronic means. Artists are responsible for keeping themselves current on KAA developments through email, social media, and KAA meetings.
Post Event REQUIREMENTS
Artists are required to report to the KAA their total gross sales for the event.
Artists are also required to contribute 10% of event net sales (gross sales less entry fee) in the form of two payments of 5% each: one to KAA (5%) and the other to Loving Food Resources (5%). These two payments are to be delivered to Marianne Soufas by no later than November 1, 2024
Mission Statement
The Kenilworth Artists Association (KAA) is a cooperative of artists in the Kenilworth neighborhood of Asheville, North Carolina. The organization’s goal is to help create a supportive environment for neighborhood artists to celebrate and share artistic interests, increase artist visibility and sales of artwork. KAA is an all-volunteer organization that, with the assistance of contributions (both in time and money) from sponsors and artists, organizes an annual studio tour and maintains this website.
